Dealing With Weeds

Dealing With Weeds

Although the term ‘weed’ is subjective, it is usually applied to invasive plants that compete with the grass for space to grow – clover and dandelions, coarse-leaved grasses, daisies and buttercups as just some examples. Early identification and prompt removal can alleviate large-scale problems. This can be as simple as following a yearly lawn maintenance plan.

Dealing with weeds is an on-going battle throughout the year. Our process is to ‘blanket’ spray with weed killer in the spring and additional ‘spot’ spraying is done on each visit. Some of the tougher weeds may need a second application which our lawn care operatives will arrange if needed.

Treating weeds is a free service offered to all of our existing customers.
